Winter Lights Glow Ride

Join us on December 19th for our annual Winter Lights Glow Ride! Decorate your bicycle (or your outfit) with LED lights and come for a casual ride. Put an extra bell on your bike for more fun ringing in the holidays!

Our route has yet to be decided but Tegan has a good track record for picking winding routes on which can admire well-lit homes and buildings (email her if there is any particular place you would like to see on the route). We plan on riding 8-10km at a meandering pace of 10-18km/hr. The Winter Lights Glow Ride will happen no matter the weather. Riding conditions may not be suitable for children.

As per Ontario law, a front white light and red tail light are REQUIRED. Helmets strongly encouraged. Ride leaves from the alleyway behind B!KE at 6:30p.m.

LED lights come in many shapes, sizes, and power options. If you are looking to purchase strings of battery powered lights locally we have had success at Home Hardware, Michael’s, and dollar stores.
