Youth Earn-A-Bike Fall 2018 Session

B!KE is now taking applications for the Fall 2018 session of our Youth Earn-A-Bike program:

An eight week introduction to bicycle mechanics for 13-17 year old youth

Participants will be provided with a donated bicycle and will then be provided with everything necessary to make that bicycle safe and fully functional. On completing the program participants will keep the bicycle they have built, and will be provided a helmet, lights, a bell and a lock.

The program runs Monday nights between 4:00pm and 7:00pm, commencing October 15th and concluding December 3rd.

Prospective participants should have an interest in mechanical process, and ideally a love of bicycles.

The program is intensive and punctual and regular attendance is important, participants who miss more than 1 week may be unable to complete the program.

Applications should be completed and returned to B!KE no later than September 3rd 2018.
