You’re invited: Canada Day Parade -Peterborough Pulse Float

Pulse Parade Theme: A fantastical display of active transportation (walking, rollerblading, biking, skateboarding, dog walking, and more). Peterborough Pulse and Happy Ukulele have teamed up this year to incorporate musical entertainment atop a whimsical bike powered trailer-float! Pulse Paraders can spread the word about our event as we walk, stroll, cycle, skate and even rollerblade down George Street!
Parade Procession Location: Along the left-hand side of George St near the London St intersection. Parade Entry #26 will be located across the street from the 555 George St Plaza parking lot.
Decoration Time: 11:45-12:00pm
For those interested in jazzing up their wheels- Pulse will provide ample decoration options. Make sure to arrive at the meeting location on time to secure yourself some decorative gear!

What to Bring?
+ Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
+ If you plan on cycling, rollerblading, skateboarding or using any other wheeled from of transportation make sure to bring a helmet! Those without proper helmet protection will not be allowed to use wheeled transportation.
+Bring a water bottle
+Dress appropriately for the weather. Example: Sunglasses, hats, umbrella, rain jacket.
What to Wear?
Peterborough Pulse is a vibrant and colourful event. Float participants can join in the fun with something bright and cheerful;)
What’s Provided?
Pulse will supply bike decorations, ribbon wands, banners, stickers, and even bubble guns for this years float! Feel free to bring your own bike, strollers, rollerblades, or skateboard;)
What Happens if it’s Raining:
The Canada Day Parade will go ahead rain or shine. In the event of a lightening storm the Parade Marshal will cancel the parade.
